Herbal bath salts are easy to make and endlessly customizable- choose your favorite salts, herbs, and essential oils to create your own signature soak. Whether you’re crafting them as a gift for yourself or gifting them to someone special, they offer a thoughtful touch of comfort, relaxation, and care during the colder months.

Herbal bath salts are easy to make and endlessly customizable. Choose your favorite salts, herbs, and essential oils to create your own signature soak.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups salt (any combination of Epsom, Pink Himalayan, Sea Salt)
  • 1-2 TBSP dried botanicals (chamomile, lavender, rose petals, etc.)
  • 10–15 drops essential oil (lavender, sweet orange, eucalyptus, peppermint, etc.)
  • 8 drops carrier oil (jojoba, argan, sweet almond, etc.)
  • Packaging: jars, ribbons, and tags

Instructions

  1. Add salts to a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir in the dried botanicals.
  3. Add carrier oil and essential oil. Mix well.
  4. Spoon into a glass jars.
  5. If gifting, tie a ribbon and make a tag listing the ingredients and instructions for use.
  6. To use: dissolve 1/2 cup of bath salts into hot water, and let your skin soak up the wonderful skin-benefiting properties!
